What Are Dentures?
Dentures are artificial, replacement teeth, also known as dental prosthetics. They have been around in one form or another for about as long as people have been losing teeth.
Will Dentures Make Life More Enjoyable?
When you have missing or extracted teeth, this dental prosthetic is an excellent solution for helping you with chewing fiber-rich food as well as improving your appearance and boosting your self-confidence.
Dentures can do a lot to improve your daily life as well as your long-term health and happiness.
What Types Of Dentures Are There?
Full dentures can replace an entire arch of teeth.
Partial dentures replace some of your teeth in a row.
Can Implants Be Used To Stabilize Dentures?
Implant-retained dentures are what we call the dentures that are attached, as you might have guessed, to dental implants.
We often use an All on 4 or All on 6 implant method to place just 4 or 6 implants into your lower or upper jaw, respectively.
We can either create a custom set of dentures to attach to your implants, or we may be able to adjust your dentures to connect to the implants. Either way, you win!
Implant-retained dentures are stabilized by the strong, permanently attached implants, while traditional removable dentures do not connect to anything and instead rest on your gums. That is why the old fashioned variety is so slippery.
Are Dentures A Cost-Effective Solution?
Indeed they are! Our dentures provide a practical, affordable, and effective solution for restoring your smile following tooth loss as an adult. They will help you reclaim your life the easy way.
Before we can put dentures in your mouth, you must have a consultation with Dr. Reiter so that we can determine the best type for you.
If you are not a good candidate for implant-retained dentures, you may be a great candidate for our modern-style removable dentures.
We use the Altadontic technique to create the most comfortable dentures around!
We will even keep a 3D record of your dentures so that in the event of lost or ruined dentures, we can recreate your smile without an additional appointment!
